Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Channel Presales Technical Architect in Arizona. This remote role focuses on technical advocacy for HPE storage across partner networks, acting as a trusted advisor to drive pipeline and revenue.

You will engage with partner teams, lead enablement, and translate complex requirements into architected storage solutions, including PoCs. 50% travel may be required to partners and customers. The position offers strong benefits and career growth within HPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of technical presales experience with storage vendor or channel partner.
• Hands-on experience in pitching, demos and architecting storage solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/KVM) and at least two app stacks (SQL Server/Oracle/SAP).
• Hands-on knowledge of a major public cloud (AWS/Azure/Google); certifications preferred.
• Expertise across data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.
• Strong channel partner engagement and enablement skills.
• Vertical industry knowledge (financial services, manufacturing, healthcare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with partner tech and sales teams.
• Grow partner engineers' ability to position, demo and design storage solutions.
• Identify and develop technical champions within partner organizations.
• Represent HPE at partner events and customer briefings.
• Join deep-dive discussions to translate needs into architected solutions.
• Deliver presentations and demos linking HPE tech to business outcomes.
• Support PoCs and solution configurations to meet requirements.
• Develop competitive strategies with partners to win.
