Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the Southeast US. You will drive technical programs, evangelize the hyper-converged hybrid cloud platform, and support pre-sales efforts for mid-market and small business customers across your region.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a deep knowledge of cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Breadth of technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Excellent business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to partners and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
• Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
• Acts as technical expert and consultant to partner, including activities such as technical sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Serves as trusted technology advisor to partners and internal resources on technical issues or business applications.
• Successfully builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers in support of sales objectives and engages corporate resources as needed.
• Leads technical sales calls.
• Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
