Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to support regional and national partners in the Southeast US, evangelizing, positioning, and architecting Rubrik's hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for mid-market and small business customers.

You will lead technical sales calls, provide expert guidance, and collaborate with partners and internal teams to meet regional revenue goals while delivering trusted advisory services.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cyber security, cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done" attitude.
• Strives in moving in a fast-paced environment; handles multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to partners and internal staff in pre-sales activities.
• Assists in analysis, design and development of integrated technology solutions.
• Acts as technical expert and consultant to partner, including technical sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisor to partners and internal team for assigned market segment.
• Builds relationships with account teams, partners and customers to support sales objectives and leverages resources as appropriate.
• Leads technical sales calls.
• Qualifies sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision making, and funding.
