Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in the United States seeks a Channel Presales Technical Architect to advance storage solutions for partner ecosystems from Miami/Southern Florida. This remote role collaborates with partner engineers, architects, and sales teams to design, demo and deliver storage and data protection solutions that create pipeline and revenue growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or channel partner.
Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware or KVM) and at least two application stacks (SQL Server, Oracle, SAP).
Hands-on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Expertise across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.
Deep competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor.
Experience in at least one major vertical (financial services, manufacturing or healthcare).
Strong knowledge of channel partner business models; capable of enabling partners throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Build partner relationships and become the go-to technical resource for HPE storage.
Grow partner engineers’ ability to position, demo and design storage solutions through enablement.
Identify and support technical champions, driving certifications and partner program requirements.
Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer briefings.
Join deep-dive discussions to translate needs into architected solutions with gaps identified.
Deliver compelling demos and presentations linking HPE tech to business outcomes.
Support PoCs and configurations meeting partner and customer requirements.
Develop competitive strategies to win against rivals.
Maintain accurate pipeline data and smooth handoffs to implementation.
