Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Channel Presales Technical Architect to grow technical advocacy for storage solutions across partners. You will be the trusted technical advisor, helping partner teams position, design and deliver HPE storage to drive pipeline and revenue growth.

This role blends deep storage architecture with partner enablement, collaborating with partner sellers and engineers on live opportunities and training partners to lead with HPE on their own.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical presales with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware or KVM) and at least two application stacks (MS SQL Server, Oracle or SAP).
• Hands-on knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); cloud certs preferred.
• Expertise across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.

Responsibilities

• Partner technical advocacy and enablement with partner teams; enablement sessions and labs.
• Develop champions within partner orgs; support certifications and program requirements.
• Represent HPE at partner events and customer briefings.
• Translate partner needs into architected solutions and PoCs.
• Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competitors.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and ensure smooth handoffs to execution.
