Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect to grow technical advocacy for storage solutions across our partner network. You will act as the trusted advisor to top partners, helping their teams position, design and deliver HPE storage solutions, and convert capability into pipeline and revenue growth.

You will work with partner sellers and engineers on live opportunities, while building long-term partner capability to lead with HPE.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, CS, or related field.
5+ years of technical presales experience with storage vendors or storage-focused channel partners.
Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware or KVM) and at least two application stacks (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SAP).
Hands-on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Expertise across the full data lifecycle and storage technologies; familiarity with partner programs and certifications.

Responsibilities

Build strong, lasting relationships with partner technical and sales teams and be their go-to resource for HPE storage.
Grow the number of partner engineers who can position, demo and design HPE storage solutions through enablement and labs.
Identify and develop technical champions within partner organizations and support their progress through certifications.
Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer briefings.
Join deep-dive discussions to understand needs and translate them into architected storage solutions.
Deliver presentations and demos tying HPE capabilities to business outcomes and support PoCs.
Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competitors.
Collaborate with account teams to generate and progress storage opportunities.
