Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Solutions Architect to drive technical enablement and solution design with our partner ecosystem. You will architect and implement complex solutions, guide deployments, and ensure outcomes across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Strong virtualization, Linux/Windows deployments, and scripting are essential. The role is remote/teleworker with focus on Illinois; the candidate will collaborate with partners and internal teams to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
5‑10 years of technical IT experience with a focus on technical selling.
Proven track record in configuration and architecture design, especially virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, KVM).
Experience with designs for Aria Operations and/or Aria Automation.
Linux/Windows OS deployments, networking (VLANs, routing, virtual switching), and storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, software‑defined storage).
Hands‑on experience with hypervisors and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash).
Industry virtualization/IT infra certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop compelling customer proposals aligning with business and technical needs.
Provide technical expertise in virtualization and infrastructure solutions.
Support partner sales with demonstrations, PoC setups, and technical presentations.
Identify business opportunities through partner engagements, upselling, and cross‑selling.
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to design scalable, cost‑effective solutions.
Monitor industry trends and refine HPE’s value proposition.
Document partner activities for forecasting and pipeline management.
Act as a trusted advisor ensuring solutions fit the customer IT ecosystem.
