Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect in New York. This role focuses on growing technical advocacy for HPE storage across partner networks and turning partner capability into pipeline and revenue growth.

You will work with partner sellers and engineers on live opportunities, enablement sessions, and PoCs, while developing long-term partner enablement and certifications. The position is remote with substantial travel to partner locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage‑focused channel partner.
Hands‑on expertise in pitching, demos and architecting complex storage solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization, including VMware or KVM‑based environments, and at least two application stacks (such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or SAP).
Hands‑on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Expertise across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection and related solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner technical advocacy and enablement for HPE storage with partner teams.
Translate partner needs into an architected storage solution and PoCs.
Deliver compelling presentations and demos tied to business outcomes for partners and customers.
Support solution configurations and ensure smooth handoffs from sales to implementation.
