Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Channel Presales Technical Architect to grow technical advocacy for HPE storage solutions across the partner community. You will be the trusted advisor to top channel partners, helping their teams design and deliver storage solutions that translate into pipeline and revenue growth.
You’ll work with partner sellers and engineers on live opportunities, building long-term capability to lead with HPE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
- Deep hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware or KVM) and at least two application stacks (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, SAP).
- Hands-on knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and enable partner technical teams to position, demo and design storage solutions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and PoCs tying HPE capabilities to business outcomes.
- Develop competitive strategies with partners to win deals against competitors.
- Collaborate with account teams to generate and progress storage opportunities.
- Represent HPE at partner events and customer briefings.
