Job summary

Mindrift seeks a CFD expert to help train AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will ingest CAD geometry, configure and run simulations, and develop verified reference solutions with Python checks to validate results.

The project is fully remote with flexible hours, around 10–20 hours per week during active phases. Prior OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, STAR-CCM+ experience and strong verification/validation practices are required.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• PhD preferred but not required.
• Hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+.
• Solid verification and validation practice including mesh-independence studies.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations.
• Set up simulations from CAD geometry and run analyses.
• Build verified reference solutions and write Python checks for results.
