Job summary

Logan Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder to join our remote coding team. You will accurately assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records and help with data abstraction, billing and collections for assigned clients.

We require 1+ year of coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/ CCS/ CPC). Remote role with approved states, including Texas, with Day Shift opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nationally recognized coding certificate.
• One year of professional coding experience is required.
• Excellent organization, detail orientation, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records and related billing.
• Abstract essential data for tracking, reporting and reimbursement.
• Review charges for accuracy and medical necessity; follow up on accounts.
• Ensure accurate data abstraction complies with regulatory requirements.
