Job summary

Logan Health in the United States is seeking an experienced Certified Professional Coder to join our remote coding team. The role focuses on accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding for outpatient records, data abstraction for reporting and reimbursement, and ensuring timely billing and collections for client databases.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines and practices.
• Nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC).
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records.
• Abstracts essential data elements for reporting and reimbursement.
• Keying, billing and collections for assigned client databases.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate with providers and departments to improve documentation.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet productivity standards.
