Logan Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder to join our remote billing team. The role emphasizes accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding for outpatient records, data abstraction, and support for billing and collections.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of coding experience and hold a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC). This full-time remote role offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines is required.
• Certification from CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records.
• Abstract essential data for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement.
• Keying, billing, and collections for assigned client databases.
• Review records for document deficiencies and ensure medical necessity.
• Communicate with providers and departments to ensure documentation supports services.
• Follow coding guidelines and maintain accurate patient data for billing.
