Intermountain Health is seeking a Remote PRN scheduling specialist to pre-register patients for appointments and procedures across multiple locations. You will manage high call volumes, transcribe external orders, and input patient data accurately while explaining benefits.

The role requires strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work across several systems. This is a part-time, as-needed position with flexible hours and a focus on patient service.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of 2 years revenue cycle experience and/or 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department appointments.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Handle high call volumes across multiple locations and departments.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Input and validate patient data in the system.
• Explain benefits and verify patient insurance.
• Assist with multi-line phone handling and transfers.
• Mentor new hires as needed.
