Job summary

Greenbrook Medical is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (Coder) to remotely support our U.S.-based team. You will validate chart documentation, ensure accurate ICD-10 codes, and educate clinicians on HCC coding in a fast-paced care setting.

The role requires 3+ years of CMS-HCC risk adjustment and ICD-10 coding, CPC certification, and experience with both prospective and concurrent workflows. Competitive hourly compensation and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Certified Coder with CPC credential and 3+ years in CMS-HCC risk adjustment.
• 3+ years of ICD-10 coding experience in a clinical setting.
• 1+ year of HEDIS/Stars experience or similar risk adjustment work.
• Experience with both prospective and concurrent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review charts and validate documentation against ICD-10 guidelines.
• Abstract clinical information from charts and claims for accurate coding.
• Query providers for documentation clarification when needed.
• Educate clinicians on HCC coding and documentation best practices.
• Maintain data quality, confidentiality, and compliant workflows.
