Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a Clinical Coding Analyst to ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance for healthcare clients. You will play a vital role in the hospital revenue performance by identifying opportunities and mitigating risks while adhering to Medicare regulations.

This position requires significant experience in inpatient coding and extensive ICD-10 CM/PCS knowledge. A flexible schedule is offered with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST/CST.

Qualifications

• AHIMA credential: CCS or CDIP, or ACDIS credential: CCDS (Required).
• Minimum 7 years acute inpatient hospital coding, auditing, and/or CDI experience.
• Extensive ICD-10 CM/PCS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-bill chart reviews and communicate recommendations quickly.
• Review electronic health records for revenue opportunities and coding compliance issues.
• Maintain system access across assigned client sites.
