Job summary

Merck is seeking a Territory Representative to drive sales of Animal Health cattle products across designated accounts and partnerships. You will map customer needs, develop strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow the portfolio.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, field sales experience, and willingness to travel up to 50%. A background in the beef/cattle industry is preferred, with education aligning to the Animal Health focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in beef/cattle industry and sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates about product in a meaningful, customer-specific way.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; meet decision makers to identify opportunities.
• Develop customer strategy and account plans with partners to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and partners to focus on accounts.
• Work across species teams to enhance knowledge of our product portfolio.
• Share knowledge with regional team to foster growth and development.
• Analyze sales results monthly and manage expenses within budget.
