Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator who will handle defined auto liability claims with exposure up to $50,000. The role supports a remote-friendly environment, traveling rarely, and opportunities to contribute across multiple states with both represented and unrepresented claimants.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with 2+ years claims experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a flexible, remote-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ related experience.
• 2+ years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient English speaking/writing.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment with option for office setting.
• Manage written, telephone and electronic communications.
• Own and adjust injuries exposure identified claims up to $50,000.
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases with unrepresented and represented claimants.
• May handle 1st party Medical payments and PIP.
• Assist in catastrophe-related claims including simple homeowner losses.
• Investigate, negotiate, settle and resolve injury claims within authority.
• Present cases for higher settlement authority when needed.
