CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role with potential duties across multiple states. You will handle first and third-party auto liability claims, including injury exposure, with opportunities to manage simple to moderate cases and occasional first-party medical payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong decision making ability.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and good command of English.
• Ability to travel on rare occasions.
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends.

Responsabilités

• Work in a virtual environment with option to work in an office setting.
• Manage communications in writing, by telephone and by electronic means (e.g., email).
• Assigned as Owning/Adjuster when injury exposure is identified.
• Handle mostly simple to moderate 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases with unrepresented or attorney-represented claimants.
• May handle 1st party Medical payment and PIP.
• Assist in catastrophes related activities including handling simple homeowner losses.
• Responsible for handling, managing, investigating, negotiating, settling and/or resolving injury claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Manage productivity by seeking claim assignments through designated queues in the system.
• Make coverage determinations and advise customers on proper action for coverage issues.
• Conduct complex investigative work (interviews, evidence, medical records, IME).
• Occasionally represent insureds at settlement conferences/arbitrations/depositions.
