Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ related work years
• 2+ years of claims experience
• 2 years of related professional experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficient English communication and 30 wpm typing
• Willingness to travel occasionally and extend hours/weekends

Responsibilities

• Working in a virtual environment or office setting
• Manage communications in writing, by telephone and e-mail
• Own claims with injury exposure under $50,000
• Handle simple to moderate auto liability cases with unrepresented or attorney-represented claimants
• May handle 1st party Medical payments and PIP
• Assist in catastrophes including simple homeowner losses
• Conduct coverage determinations and advise on actions
• Investigate and negotiate to settlement within authority
