Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote role with home telework options across multiple states. You will own simple to moderate auto liability claims involving injury exposure up to $50,000, working with represented or unrepresented claimants and coordinating communication across channels.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2+ years of claims experience, strong analytical and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related work experience.
• 2 years of claims experience and related professional experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation and English communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic math and typing 30 wpm.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work extended hours/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own claims with injury exposure up to $50,000 in a remote environment.
• Handle 1st and 3rd party auto liability cases with both represented and unrepresented claimants.
• Manage communications via writing, phone, and email.
• Investigate, negotiate, and settle cases; support catastrophe-related activities as needed.
• Make coverage determinations and provide guidance to customers.
