Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Casualty Specialist Evaluator who will work remotely nationwide (except HI/AK). The role handles 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims with low to moderate complexity and supports subrogation and coverage determinations.

You will manage investigations, negotiate settlements, and handle Medical Payment and PIP as needed. The position emphasizes independent work, strong customer service, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• 2 years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment or in an office setting.
• Communicate effectively in writing, by phone and email.
• Own and adjust claims when injury exposure is identified.
• Handle mostly simple to moderate auto liability cases with or without representation.
• May manage 1st party Medical Payment and PIP.
• Assist in catastrophes including simple homeowner losses.
• Settle claims within settlement authority and negotiate as needed.
• Conduct coverage determinations and advise on proper actions.
• Investigate, gather evidence, and analyze complex information.
