Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is hiring a Casualty Evaluator for a remote, nationwide role with exceptions for Hawaii and Alaska. You will own and adjust simple to moderate auto liability claims, determine coverage, and investigate injuries, often under $50,000 exposure.

The position supports claims teams across multiple states and may require rare travel or occasional office work. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of claims experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong independent work and customer service orientation.
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Work in a virtual environment with option to work in an office setting.
• Handle mostly simple to moderate 1st and 3rd party auto liability claims involving injury.
• Make coverage determinations and advise on proper action related to coverage issues.
• Investigate and negotiate injury claims with exposure under $50,000.
• Occasionally handle first-party Medical payments and PIP.
