Job summary

CVS Health Minute Clinic is seeking a remote care Nurse Practitioner to provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients aged 18 months and up via telehealth. You will assess, diagnose, treat, counsel, and disposition patients in collaboration with a dedicated care team while maintaining patient privacy and high standards of safety.

This remote role requires an active US license, FNP certification, and flexibility for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted US state license.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Proficiency with information management technology.
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care.
• Spanish language skills may be required in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling and disposition planning.
• Evaluate primary care and chronic patients; educate and counsel and plan dispositions.
• Provide patient counseling including contraception and STI prevention.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues within the care team.
• Work with a care team to deliver high-quality care and advocate for patients.
• Work independently, prioritize and solve problems, and advocate for patients.
