Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver holistic, evidence-based remote care for patients 18 months and older. This 6-month PRN contract demands 20+ hours weekly, including some weekends, with a strong emphasis on autonomous practice and collaborative teamwork.

Required are an active NP license, a Master's in Family Nurse Practice, and 2+ years of experience, plus proficiency in EHRs and telehealth platforms.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP licensure in any US state/district is required.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and multitasking.
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with a care team; bilingualism may be required.
• Comfort with remote care delivery and telemedicine platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care via remote platform.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health problems across ages 18 months+.
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention and STI prevention; contraception guidance.
• Educate patients and respond to inquiries; document in EHR.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues; ensure high-level care.
• Work with care team—Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals, pharmacists.
• Work independently, prioritize, and advocate for patients.
