Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver remote, evidence-based care for patients aged 18 months and up. This PRN, six-month contract requires 20+ hours weekly, including some weekends, with licensure in any US state/district and potential for additional licensure as needed.

The role collaborates with a dedicated team of professionals to assess, diagnose, treat, counsel, and disposition plans, while documenting patient care in an EHR and coordinating

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP licensure in any US state or district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to practice autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Experience with electronic health records and information management.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care remotely, including assessment and management of health concerns.
• Evaluate patients aged 18 months and older with pregnancy prevention and STI counseling.
• Counsel on contraceptive options and medication management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care within an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues and the broader care team.
• Work effectively within a remote care team and advocate for patients.
