Job summary

apree health is hiring a full-time remote or hybrid Care Guide - Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team. Our apree health office is in Sandy, UT, and we seek motivated individuals with healthcare and tech experience.

You will respond to inquiries via email, phone, live chat, and messaging; provide primary support for a regional health plan; assist with account access, benefits, and scheduling; and document all interactions in Salesforce, aiming for high-quality, HIPAA-compliant

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer support in healthcare or medical billing preferred.
• Experience supporting a health plan is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and problem solving abilities.
• Medical office experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech savvy and comfortable navigating mobile technology.
• Maintain 100% attendance during and after training.
• Spanish speaking and writing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via email, phone, live chat, and messaging.
• Provide primary support for a regional health plan.
• Support account access, benefits, programs, incentives, and scheduling.
• Own resolution of customer service and navigation issues.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.
• Keep information confidential and HIPAA compliant.
• Document interactions in Salesforce and manage case backlog.
• Perform outbound calls for scheduling with providers when needed.
