Job summary

The Coordinator, Individualized Care at Cardinal Health works remotely to help patients access therapy through Reimbursement Support Services. You guide patients from referral to coverage, coordinating with payers, pharmacies and physicians to facilitate timely dispensing and a positive patient experience.

You will handle inquiries, maintain knowledge of insurance benefits, and escalate complex issues as needed, while meeting performance standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM CST.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of patient therapy, prior authorization and reimbursement processes.
• Manages a queue of technical or complex reimbursement questions from customers.
• Meets KPIs including service levels, call volumes, adherence and quality.
• Follows up with patients, pharmacies, physicians and support organizations as needed.
• Handles sensitive information with discretion including prescriptions and personal data.
• Escalates highly complex issues to senior team members and leadership.
