Job summary

Mixlab seeks a Care/Compounding Pharmacist to bridge remote care with hands-on lab work. You will split time between our Care team and a compounding lab, ensuring accurate orders and high-quality medications for pets and their veterinarians.

The role requires a licensed pharmacist in WI, comfort with remote communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Compensation reflects experience and startup growth.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in WI in good standing.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses within 6 months.
• Residence within commuting distance of Mixlab lab and able to work on site ~3 days/week.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and pet parents with prescriptions remotely and in the lab.
• Compound and verify medications following SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise technicians and conduct final checks on compounded orders.
• Coordinate care between the Care team and lab to ensure timely delivery.
• Counsel clients on medications and administration instructions.
• Maintain quality assurance and compliance across processes.
