Job summary

Mixlab, Inc. is seeking a Care/Compounding Pharmacist for a hybrid role combining remote care with in-lab compounding. You will support veterinarians and pet parents, verify prescriptions, and supervise technicians to ensure accuracy and quality.

The role requires an active CA license (or eligibility), readiness to obtain additional licenses, and the ability to work from home and a lab up to three days per week, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in CA (or eligible for CA)
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses within 6 months for Care coverage
• Residence within commuting distance of one of the labs and ability to work on site ~3 days/week
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and pet parents remotely, handling calls, emails and prescriptions
• Enter orders into the proprietary workflow system with accuracy
• Counsel clients on medications and administration
• Coordinate with Care and Lab teams to schedule and delivers on time
• Supervise technicians in compounding, packaging and labeling
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
