Job summary

Mixlab, Inc. is seeking a Care/Compounding Pharmacist to work across our Care team remotely and in-person in one of our labs. You will compound, verify, and supervise, while acting as a bridge between clinical questions from veterinarians and lab capabilities.

The role requires passion for personalized care, adherence to SOPs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis across care and lab duties.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in home state (WI) in good standing.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses within 6 months of hire.
• Residence within commuting distance to one of five lab locations and the ability to work on site ~3 days/week.
• Impeccable attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Time split: ~40% Care/Remote and 60% Lab.
• Communicate professionally with veterinarians and clients to get pets prescriptions on time.
• Receive prescriptions and enter orders with careful attention to detail.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and perform final checks on compounded medications.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
