Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts, provide compassionate support, and coordinate dispatch in a fully remote role. The position emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and teamwork across high-volume calls.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 year in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple screens and systems. Training will cover compliance and security procedures; weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings
• Remote capability with reliable internet required (50 Mbps down / 25 Mbps up)
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Schedules include weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch responses
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms
• Record call details and messages into a database in real-time
• Communicate with empathy and patience to ensure a positive member experience
• Verify and update customer information in the system
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for maintenance
• Recommend preventative healthcare services to members
• Handle sensitive materials with confidentiality
• Complete new hire training and compliance testing
