Job summary

Cytokinetics is seeking a Cardiovascular Account Specialist to lead the launch of its first commercial product for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy within a designated US territory, including Fredericksburg and Woodbridge, VA. You will drive sales results, plan territory activities with cross-functional teams, and act as the primary resource for clinicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years experience in biotech/pharma sales.
• Experience as a rep with sole ownership of the territory preferred.
• Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience preferred.
• Specialty product launch experience preferred.
• Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of KOLs and key accounts within assigned territory preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to plan strategically to exceed sales objectives.
• Experience selling to complex accounts and understanding patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales results and act as the single point of accountability for launch in the territory.
• Develop territory account plans with integrated field team coordination.
• Serve as a subject matter expert delivering clinically relevant disease and product information.
• Communicate approved resources to HCPs for patient care and education.
