Job summary

Cytokinetics seeks a Cardiovascular Account Specialist to introduce Cytokinetics in your territory and drive the launch of its first commercial product, a novel cardiac myosin inhibitor for HCM. You will build strategic relationships with IDNs, hospitals, cardiology clinics, and specialty pharmacies while partnering with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years experience in biotech/pharma sales.
• Experience with sole ownership of a territory preferred.
• Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience preferred.
• Specialty product launch experience preferred.
• Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of KOLs and key accounts within territory preferred.
• Expertise in evaluating territory market trends and strategic planning required.
• Experience selling to complex accounts and meeting patient needs required.
• Clinical acumen with patient focus required.
• Credentialing access to academic institutions/medical facilities required.
• Willing to overnight travel 25–75% depending on geography.
• Driving license to operate company vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales results autonomously and lead the territory launch.
• Develop territory plans with cross-functional teams to seize opportunities.
• Provide clinicians with disease and product information and create demand.
• Share approved resources with HCPs to support HCM patients.
