Cytokinetics, Inc. is launching a novel cardiac myosin inhibitor for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). The Cardiovascular Account Specialist will drive the launch in Fredericksburg and Woodbridge, VA, building relationships with IDNs, hospitals, cardiology clinics, and specialty pharmacies.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in biotech/pharma sales with territory ownership experience. Travel 25%–75% and credentialing for access are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5+ years experience in biotech/pharma sales.
• Experience with sole ownership of the territory is preferred.
• Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience is preferred.
• Specialty product launch experience and patient hub distribution knowledge are preferred.
• Ability to travel 25–75% and credentialing access requirements are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales results and act as the single point of accountability for the launch in the territory.
• Develop territory-specific plans with local teams to meet customer needs.
• Be a resource delivering clinically relevant disease and product information to customers.
• Communicate approved resources to HCPs for HCM patients, including materials and payer information.
