Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Cardiovascular Account Specialist to lead the launch of its first commercial product in a dedicated territory.

You will drive performance by coordinating with medical, payer, and patient navigation teams and by building relationships with IDNs, hospitals, and specialty pharmacies. Responsibilities include delivering sales results autonomously, developing territory plans, and serving as a subject‑matter expert on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and related therapies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5+ years experience in biotech/pharma sales.
• Experience with sole ownership of the territory is highly preferred.
• Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience is preferred.
• Specialty product launch experience is preferred.
• Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution is preferred.
• Knowledge of KOLs and key accounts within assigned territory is preferred.
• Ability to travel 25% to 75% as required.
• Credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions and medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales results, work autonomously, and serve as single point of accountability for the successful launch within your territory.
• Develop territory-specific account plans coordinating with medical, payer, and patient navigation teams.
• Be a subject matter expert delivering clinically relevant disease and product information.
• Communicate approved resources to HCPs and payers for HCM patient care.
