Cytokinetics is seeking a Cardiovascular Account Specialist for the U.S. sales team in San Antonio, TX.

You will launch the company’s first commercial cardiac myosin inhibitor for HCM, develop territory plans, and build relationships with IDNs, hospitals and cardiology clinics to create demand and ensure access. The role requires 5+ years in biotech/pharma sales, ownership of the territory, and experience with specialty launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in biotech/pharma sales with territory ownership preferred.
• Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales results and own the territory autonomously.
• Develop territory-specific account plans with cross-functional teams.
• Be a subject matter expert and provide clinically relevant product information.
• Communicate approved resources to HCPs and ensure formulary access.
