Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator to join our team in a hybrid role. This position supports multiple sites with cost estimates from conceptual through authorization stages, enabling competitive solutions and informing risk management decisions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of petrochemical/industrial estimating experience, familiarity with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost Estimator, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Must reside in Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones and be able to commute to Chemours facilities.
• Experience with cost basis, Richardson, Aspen, RS Means, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual and other estimates for early investment options.
• Prepare all estimate types based on project progression and gate requirements.
• Maintain estimating libraries and historical data for cost benchmarks.
• Support risk discussions and input into project risk management processes.
