Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role will be based in the US with flexibility to work from multiple sites, including Wilmington, DE, as business needs require.

You will develop estimates through the project life cycle, support multiple teams, and help drive cost efficiency and risk management across capital and non-capital work. Significant experience in petrochemical or heavy industrial estimating is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Experience in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.
• Experience in Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Ability to effectively interact with and influence people at all levels within and outside of Chemours.

Responsibilities

• Provides business-specific conceptual estimates in support of early investment options.
• Prepares all estimate types based on project progression.
• Ensures estimates meet industry quality requirements for each project gate step.
• Generate cost reduction concepts and improved work processes to improve project efficiency.
• Lead execution of early estimate plans and updates through project implementation.
• Maintains estimating system cost libraries and historical data.
• Assist Risk Competency Leads and discuss estimate impacts for risk processes.
