Job summary

The Chemours Company seeks a Capital Project Estimator for a hybrid role, preferably based in Wilmington, DE, with travel to multiple sites as needed. The role delivers capital and non-capital estimates through the project life cycle, from conceptual to check authorization, supporting risk management and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in petrochemical/industrial estimating, familiarity with Aspen tools, and strong communication across all levels within a dynamic team

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and respond quickly to changes.
• Experience in Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Good stakeholder engagement across all levels.
• Based in Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones with ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical capital and non-capital estimates across project life cycle.
• Develop conceptual and authorization level estimates.
• Ensure compliance with gate process quality requirements.
• Benchmark costs and drive improvements to efficiency.
• Support risk discussions and input for risk models.
