Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator to join our hybrid team, ideally near Wilmington, DE, but other sites will be considered. You will deliver capital and non-capital estimates, support multiple project teams, and help drive cost-efficient project execution with robust data and industry standards.

The role requires strong estimating experience, familiarity with Aspen tools, and the ability to collaborate across multiple sites while traveling as needed to support project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks and quickly initiate changes in plan when appropriate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 10+ years of estimating experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost Estimator.
• Knowledge of Richardson, RS Means and @Risk Monte Carlo software.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual and process estimates for early investment options.
• Develop all estimate types as projects progress through milestones.
• Ensure estimates meet industry-quality requirements for each project gate.
• Generate cost reduction concepts to improve project efficiency.
• Lead early estimate plans and updates through project execution.
• Maintain cost libraries and historical estimating data.
• Support risk discussions and quantify estimate impacts.
