UMB Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer – Capital Finance to originate loans and negotiate terms with referral sources across the banking and financial sector. You will review and approve deals before escalation to Executive Management and support underwriting on new client proposals from prospect to funding.

You will market to Banks, CPAs, Attorneys, Private Equity firms, and national organizations, visit prospective clients, and prepare reports for new prospects while advancing a

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years credit experience with 3 years sales experience in banking or asset-based lending.
• Ability to read and interpret financial and budgetary documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Originate loans consistent with the Company's credit policy.
• Negotiate price and structure of new transactions within limits.
• Review and approve transactions before reporting to Executive Management.
• Initiate and maintain relationships with referral sources and influence centers.
• Assist in underwriting of client proposals from prospect to funding.
• Seek approval from Executive Management for new client transactions.
• Market to banks, CPAs, attorneys, PE firms, and national organizations.
• Visit prospective clients and produce reports for new prospects.
