UMB Bank in the Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA metropolitan areas seeks a Business Development Officer – Capital Finance. You will originate loans, negotiate terms, review and approve transactions, and drive client funding.

You will build referral networks, assist in underwriting, and present proposals to Executive Management while expanding market reach and maintaining strong financial analysis and communication with teammates.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years credit experience with 3 years sales experience in banking, finance or asset-based lending.
• Knowledge of marketing tools and methods (mailings, telemarketing, outreach).
• Ability to read and interpret financial and budgetary documents.
• Professional verbal and written communication; strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Originate loans in line with credit policy.
• Negotiate price and structure of new transactions within limits.
• Review and approve transactions before reporting to Executive Management.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and influence centers.
• Assist underwriting of new client proposals from prospect to funding.
• Seek Executive Management approval for new client transactions.
• Market to banks, CPAs, attorneys, private equity, financial firms, brokers and national organizations.
• Visit prospective clients and produce reports for new prospects; attend regular meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
