UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Officer to grow the loan portfolio and deliver commercial finance and related services. You will engage business owners and executives to expand banking solutions and maximize profitability.

The role focuses on building credit-backed portfolios, negotiating proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships while representing UMB in the community and ensuring service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a commercial lending role.
• Experience in sales to small businesses and credit knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and industry-specific marketing abilities are valued.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Business Banking loan portfolio and related revenue services.
• Qualify companies for loan business and manage overall credit quality of the portfolio.
• Build relationships with business owners, CFOs, CEOs, and controllers to drive new business.
