Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Remote Cook to oversee daily food preparation, production, stocking, and presentation in a remote camp setting in Alaska. You will maintain serving lines, ensure cleanliness, and support supervision and training of staff.

The role requires at least five years of high-volume kitchen experience, Alaska-specific certifications, and the ability to work long shifts in a remote camp environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of directly related restaurant cooking experience in high-volume environments.
• Ability to instruct and train others and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification required upon hire.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background check and UA drug test.
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs main line food production duties as assigned.
• Reviews daily needs with supervisors and completes production sheets.
• Assists with menu and recipe development.
• Maintains stock levels on salad bar and pantry items with proper rotation.
• Cooks and prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.
• Wipes down and sanitizes preparation areas and equipment.
