Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking a Remote Breakfast Cook/Baker for a camp setting (North Slope/Prudhoe Bay). The role involves preparing and presenting foods, producing bakery items, directing food service staff, and completing production sheets in a remote camp environment.

The position requires 3+ years of cooking/baking experience, a valid Alaska Food Workers Card or ServSafe, and the ability to stand for long hours in a teamwork-driven environment with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of directly related restaurant cooking/baking experience.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements including drug test, physical and fit-for-duty assessment.
• Ability to instruct and train others and to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Must stand 12 hours per shift and live in dormitory-style accommodations.
• Must meet safety guidelines and speak/read/write English.
• Contract requires English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform main line food production duties as assigned.
• Cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery items and related prep.
• Prepare a wide variety of bakery products in a remote camp setting.
• Complete pastry preparations including mixing, baking and frying.
• Supervise and train food service staff as directed.
• Monitor and replenish kitchen production items with proper rotation.
• Review daily needs with supervisors and prepare production sheets.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of preparation areas and equipment.
• Ensure proper stock, setup, and cleanliness of serving lines and snack areas.
• Assist in menu/recipe development and food presentation.
