Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC seeks a Remote Cook’s Helper to support the WNS Camp on the North Slope from Anchorage, AK, on a 3-week on / 3-week off rotation with 12-hour shifts. This role involves food prep, cleaning, stocking, and serving in a remote camp kitchen.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years kitchen experience or vocational training, Alaska Food Worker Card or ServSafe, pass pre-employment testing, and be able to live in dormitory-style housing while working

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of work experience in a commercial kitchen or vocational training to demonstrate knowledge of industrial cleaning, food prep, and cleaning processes.

Responsibilities

• Assists cooks, chefs, bakers, and coordinates activities in a food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Maintain products at required levels in prep, serving, or storage areas.
• Stock food service areas with products and materials.
• Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans and store them orderly.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards; report issues to supervisor.
