Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is hiring for a part-time/on-call Kitchen Helper to support remote camp locations in Alaska. The role involves sanitation, cleaning, basic food prep, stocking, and serving duties across kitchen, storeroom, dining, and serving areas.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen, with Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe certification preferred. Ability to work long shifts and live in dormitory housing is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen or related vocational training.
• Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification required on hire.
• Pre-employment tests may include drug, physical, and fitness assessments.
• Ability to cooperate in a team and work with little supervision.
• Must be on your feet for long shifts and live in remote camp dormitories.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities in the food service area.
• Stock and maintain products in service and storage areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in an orderly manner.
• Clean dining, kitchen, and storage areas; assist with large periodic cleanings.
• May prepare simple foods or beverages and assist with various duties.
• Report safety and sanitation concerns to supervisor.
• No supervisory responsibilities in this role.
