Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Kitchen Helper to maintain sanitation, assist in food prep, and support a remote camp kitchen in Alaska. This role requires working in remote locations, 12-hour shifts, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Pre-employment testing and certification are required to ensure suitability for camp duties. Travel to remote camps will be required as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen or related vocational training.
• Alaska Food Workers Card / ServSafe certification required upon hire.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including drug, physical, fit-for-duty, hearing tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and coordinate activities in the food service area.
• Prepare food and cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Stock products and materials in service areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils and kitchen surfaces; maintain orderly storage areas.
• Assist with periodic large cleaning projects and sanitation tasks.
• Report safety and sanitation concerns to supervisor.
