Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking an energetic Chef I to join our lodge kitchen team on a rotation schedule (6 weeks on, 2 off). You will support daily menu production, prepare meals to HACCP standards, and help maintain a safe, high-volume operation.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year culinary experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to work with limited supervision in remote environments. This role offers housing on rotation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years culinary experience in hospitality or remote camp settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid ServSafe certification.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Must provide own transportation to facility and be able to travel for rotations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture and follow SOPs and policies.
• Operate kitchen equipment (grills, slicers, tilt skillets, fryers, ovens).
• Prepare meals on the line and on grills/ovens/fryers.
• Serve guests and ensure meals meet HACCP standards.
• Proper food storage, rotation, and disposal per HACCP/FIFO.
• Assist with serving and portion control, sanitation, and customer service.
